Not bothering anyone I hope

But...if no one minds...
HAPPY 140th CANADA!
In tribute, here are the words to the national anthem...

O Canada
Our home and native land
True, patriot love
In all our sons command
With glowing hearts
We see thee rise
The True North
Strong and free
From far and wide
O Canada
We stand on guard for thee
god, keep our land
Glorious and free
O Canada
We stand on guard for thee
O C-A-N-A-D-A
We stand on guard, for thee

En Francais

O Canada!
Terre de nos aïeux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux.
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,
Il sait porter la croix.
Ton histoire est une épopée,
Des plus brillants exploits.
Et ta valeur, de foi trempée,
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.

I think we can all agree the French words are much more rousing...In any case, have a beer, some bacon and watch some Canadian t.v. or film. Happy Canada Day!

As I am currently having a beer, eating bacon, wearing a touque, and watching "Canadian Bacon", I must wish you a Happy Canada Day as well... for those of you who don't know what a touque is... happy Sunday.
